Me and White Supremacy
Book club meets courageous conversation
Starting in October, we will use Me and White Supremacy by Layla F. Saad to guide us on a five-week journey of deep self-examination.
The book and daily journal prompts will challenge us to look honestly at white privilege, racial bias, defensiveness, and the ways white supremacy culture shows up in our lives — even when our intentions are good.
Together, we'll create a supportive and nurturing space where we can stay curious, practise accountability and support one another.
About Me and White Supremacy
Watch this short explainer before exploring how the five-week programme will work.
Alyson Malach, Director of EDUK talks to Ellie Grady (She/They) about the programme
A small group. Five weeks. Space to go deeper.
EDUK will offer 8 individuals the opportunity to work through Me and White Supremacy together in a small facilitated group.
It is a five-week commitment to deep self-reflection, courageous conversation and personal accountability.
This isn’t about blame, guilt or shame. In fact, it is likely to be quite liberating.
The space will be held by two accomplished trainers who bring lived experience of racism and white privilege respectively.
