Give your trainers the skills to design and deliver their own equality and diversity training sessions
In‑house courses are private sessions delivered exclusively for a group of people from your organisation, on a date that suits you, with the option to tailor the content to your staff and setting.
Open courses are public Equality and Diversity UK training dates that anyone can book onto, ideal when you only need training for one or two people.
This full‑day in‑house course provides a practical introduction to equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) training. It equips your trainers with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to design and deliver effective EDI sessions for their colleagues. The programme is suitable for anyone involved in training or supporting staff on a one‑to‑one, small‑group or large‑group basis, whether delivered face‑to‑face or online.
Our sessions are tailored to meet the needs of new, developing and experienced trainers. Our Train the Trainer programmes are delivered to small groups to ensure personalised guidance, constructive feedback and a supportive learning environment.
The course is structured to allow ample time for practical activities, video content, shared learning and discussion. Delegates have regular opportunities to practise delivery techniques, build confidence and refine their approach in a safe, encouraging and professionally facilitated setting.
This course is suitable for delegates with a basic understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), even if they have not previously delivered EDI training. A foundational awareness of EDI principles is the only prerequisite.
Participants who already have some training experience and existing EDI knowledge will also benefit, as the programme builds on core concepts while introducing new approaches and practical techniques.
